Our Vision

Cultivate To Construct Change.

The Rotary Club of Historic Jackson Heights is a New York City-based nonprofit organization dedicated to making a life-saving impact on children with heart conditions in Central America and Colombia. Since our founding in 2010, we have been committed to providing access to critical heart surgeries for children in need.

A child’s heart should be full of possibilities, not burdened by a life-threatening condition. Yet, for many families, proper medical care remains out of reach due to financial hardship or lack of access to specialized treatment centers. That’s where we step in.

Guided by our motto, “The Privilege of Giving,” we are driven by the generosity of our community, the expertise of medical volunteers, and the passion of individuals like you. Through fundraising, advocacy, and hands-on support, we strive to transform the lives of children and their families—one heart at a time.

Thanks to the dedication of our members, volunteers, and supporters, we have already helped hundreds of children receive the life-saving care they deserve. But our work is far from over.

We invite you to join us—whether by attending an event, becoming a member, or supporting our mission in any way you can. Be part of Rotary’s global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, and leaders working together to create lasting change in our communities and beyond.

Get Involved: We hold weekly Zoom meetings every Thursday. If you’d like to join us, please contact us—we’d love to welcome you!

Together, we can give more children a chance at a healthy future.
