Our Vision

Cultivate To Construct Change.

The Rotary Club of Historic Jackson Heights, is a New York City based nonprofit organization established in 2010. Our main program helps children from Central America and Colombia that have heart conditions and need a life-saving surgery.

Knowing that a child suffers from a heart defect (congenital or acquired) is heartbreaking. Even more so, when it is due to lack of resources or simply because treatment centers are out of reach.

Our club plants a seed of change, by living up to our motto “The Privilege of Giving” and our mission depends on the generosity, knowledge, and skills of medical volunteers, the local community and you, our neighbor.

As a team we fundraise, advocate and provide support through different ways to continue our mission of changing lives of children with heart conditions.

Our members, volunteers, family and friends have all been a part of this project and we are proud to report that hundreds of families have benefited greatly.

Now, with this open letter I invite you to visit our club, participate in our events or join the team on this life saving adventure.  Become part of Rotary’s 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Every Wednesday we have our bi weekly meeting on Zoom. Please Contact us if you want to join our virtual meetings.

Thank you, I am looking forward to seeing you at our next meeting.
